The path begins in Lancaster traveling along the shoreline to Gray's Creek, and then travels through Cornwall to continue winding through the rolling terrain toward Long Sault.
The path then follows the island causeway of the Long Sault Parkway and continues to the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Ingleside, then arriving at Upper Canada Village Heritage Park. From the Village, the path continues into the village of Morrisburg, with a section also completed in Iroquois.
A new section has recently been completed from Cornwall north to St. Andrews. A great way to get onto the St. Lawrence Recreational Path is by going to the parking lot of Gray’s Creek Marina.
The Marina is located at the mouth of Gray's Creek in Cornwall's east end, providing easy access to the popular boating and fishing grounds of the St. Lawrence River. The marina basin provides 108 open slips for day and seasonal boaters.
Support facilities include a launching ramp, service building and public washrooms. Adjacent to the marina you will find Gray's Creek Conservation Area with trails and picnic tables.
