Lamoureux Park is a large 23-acre park adjacent to the Civic Complex, running along the shoreline of the St. Lawrence River in the downtown area. This park has many points of interest, like the Cornwall Lions Club and the historical Woodhouse Community Musuem.
You’ll also enjoy jogging trails, bicycle paths, picnic tables, and benches.
There is also a boat launch and many special memorial sites. You’ll find playground equipment for the kids at the north end of the park.
The Lion's Club Bandshell in Lamoureux Park features over 65 events a year. One highlight is the Summer Arts in the Park. Events include premier performances, puppets and poetry. Performers include local artists as well as international touring companies, musicians and writers.
